Graphing Calculator Documentation (Work in progress)

Back to Graphing Calculator
Please DO NOT rely on this calculator for accurate information. It is Beta software so it is glitchy and may provide inaccurate information.
To start, just type the equation you wish to solve. You may wish to click "Radians" if you are graphing an equation with x.
When an x is in the calculater form, a graph will appear. Adjust the "Resolution" to make the graph appear more accurate.

Supported operators: + - * / % ^
Example 1: tan(2)/sin(pi) + 1/3
Example 2: asin(x)

Supported Trig Functions
sin(x) cos(x) tan(x)
csc(x) sec(x) cot(x)
asin(x) acos(x) atan(x)
acsc(x) asec(x) acot(x)

Other Functions
abs(x): Absolute Value
log(x): Log base 10
ln(x): Natural Logarithm
sqrt(x): Square Root

Supported Variables
set a variable: a=equation (can set a,b,c and d)
inf = Infinity
pi ≈ 3.14159265
e ≈ 2.71828183

Future Changes:
Removal of Resolution (200-500 works for pretty much all graphs but the larger this number, the more time it takes to generate the graph)
"Solve for" will be updated so previous searches will not be visible on the screen
Axis labels and numbering
Support for variable multiplication without * (2x instead of 2*x)
Support for ^ symbol for variables
Solve for 0
Mouse support (move graph, zoom in/out)
3d Graphing
...and many other features
